So far I've read five - A Christmas Carol, David Copperfield, Bleak House, A Tale of Two Cities and Great Expectations. I believe I have Oliver Twist in my stack here as my next Dickens read. My favorite has always been David Copperfield!
ReplyDeleteKristen- How was Bleak House? I have it on my "to read" list.
ReplyDeleteI love Charles Dickens. So far I've read

Tea- I'd like to read The Old Curiosity Shop. In fact, I think I have it in my bookshelf.
ReplyDeleteBleak House took a lot of courage to pick up but then you get sucked in. I really liked it. The story has a lot of side threads so you get interested in all of these tangential stories. I wouldn't mind reading it again later in life.
ReplyDeleteKristen- I have a number of books stacked up to read and review, so I plan on reading Bleak House as soon as I get thru some of those. It looks interesting.
ReplyDeleteI've read 9 and I agree Bleak House is great, but I think I enjoyed the characters in Martin Chuzzlewit the most. Dickens has caused many a sleepless night frantically turning pages....
